Re: Kendo async file upload

Tom DeMeo
Hi,

I’m trying to use a file upload widget provided by the Kendo UI library.

I can see from inspecting the Network activity from the browser that an ajax POST request sending the file is being sent to the server, and I am receiving the request on the server, but Active4D doesn’t seem to know how to process it. I don’t get anything in the Active4D uploads folder, and I can’t see any way to get at the data. There are no form variables being sent

Does anyone know of a way to process requests like this? They provide an server side example for PHP, but it depends on a custom kendo autoload php lib to work, so I wasn’t able to get any clues there.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I looked at the Network panel in my browser and it’s definitely posting the file. Remember that you have to specifically use ‘copy upload’ to actually save an upload, and the name attribute of the file input field has to match what you pass to ‘copy upload’.

I recommend looking at the demo of the plain HTML5/Javascript version.

All the best,
